This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Finally someone really thought about a problem and invented a solution that appears to have no trade offs.

It's honestly one of the neatest things I've seen, ever.

Alsoa video HERE

For those who are leary of clicking it's a M16/M4/AR15 30 round round magazine that loads from the front. You slide the front of the mag down and it compresses the spring and follower then you just drop the ammunition in or out. My horrid description doesn't do it justice, watch the flick.

I searched and found no references to the EasyMag or Cammenga except for their watches and speedloaders. This is a horse of a different color, check it out.

There was a thread about this last week I think. Looks cool but not worth the $40 unit price. I can still load my P-mags faster with a speed loader and stripper clips.

ok when I looked at it I thought yeah ok great how will it do with a full auto um then............
Then I was thinking yeah sure but how will it do if it were smashed with a sledge hammer in on a gravel road then.................
then I had it no one would drag it behind a car shoot it with a shot gun or fill it full of sand well they thought of that too I'm bummed out that it still works so Lets see how it holds up to being filled up with concrete and let it dry. Then maybe it wont work!

I would say durability I have had several mags go useless due to droping and getting steped on at 3 gun matches.

Well, they are a bit more pricey than standard AR15 mags but, it's still a fine idea that was way past due. It also has the added bonus of having the speed loader already "attached"to every mag and not another device to lug around. Seems to be a super fast way to load loose ammo into a mag in a big hurry. Heck, I'm not making any money from this post nor do I even own one. It's still a pretty cool evolutionary step to the cased ammo/magazine paradigm.

Neat idea but does it solve a major problem?

I never had a whole lot of trouble loading AR mags. It certainly is easier and faster. And it is one tough mag. Should be easier to clean, too.

Why not just buy a bunch of PMags for $17.00 each and a LULA?
because this is cooler?

I have mag loading devices for several of my pistols. I just realized I never really used them that much. just not that much more difficult to just load them by hand.

I bet my fiance' and my buddies girlfriend would had loved these the last time we tool some ARs shooting.

That actaully looks pretty awsome. I hope they develop some for pistol calibers as well.

Drop a fully loaded one off a (at least) two story building more than once. If it still functions then I'll be impressed.

Some ask "why" but I think it's pretty slick, too. Yeah, okay, sure it is pretty easy to load regular AR mags, but unloading them by hand is a PITA. I could see this mag making unloading pretty easy; compress the spring, dump out the ammo, done.

hmm. interesting. I wonder if they made it through the sand tests the first time.

I wouldn't expect any magazine to function reliably after that exposure to sand. If it is reliable 100% after that treatment, I wonded whats different about it to make it so?

This was actually shown at SHOT last year..but their booth was buried WAAY back in the very very corner of law enforcement, and no one else ever seemed to notice them. Glad to see it's still around.

but unloading them by hand is a PITA. I could see this mag making unloading pretty easy; compress the spring, dump out the ammo, done.
Sounds like someone needs to buy some more mags so they don't have to remove rounds from one by hand!

Wow...I'm pretty impressed! For $25 maybe but $35...no way. Most of the mags I own are $10.99 Mil Specs and work great!

The price is still way reasonable for a completely new design. Look at the cost of 20 round .308 mags for the Saiga for comparison. Those are worth the money to me and I still cringe every time I buy one. 40 bucks for something like this seems to be a fair price. Sure it isn't as cheap as a mil spec but then mil spec mags are just aluminum boxes with a spring and a folower, no real innovation there.
