Mustang Pocketlite

I had it done over at CCR. It was originally satin nickel when I bought it back in 1985 and over the years the finish started wearing a lot. I thought they did a pretty decent job.

Don't have one by itself, but here's my Colt Pony Pocketlite with all my assorted other crap....

Another Colt, though newer and with a little more kick.

Not a pic of my actual gun, just a pic I found on the google image search...

But my mouse gun is a Beretta 950 "Jetfire" in .25 ACP

The new Kel-Tec 3AT I picked up last week. The target shows 6rds to the head and 44 rds to the chest at 7 yds I shot yesterday while breaking it in.

Lonestar - that looks well useful - what ammo? My P3-AT sits in the safe rather a lot - mostly cos I have R9. But, mine was rather fussy - didn't like Russian ammo too much - but I guess I should feed it something more ''nutritional'' !!

Don't think anyone has posted one of these so here's the contents of my right front pocket. Never missed a lick and more accurate than I expected.

P95Carry - the six head shots were Winchester SXT 95gr HP's; the 44 shots to the chest were winchester white box FMJ's, I can't remember the grain. It did pretty well for the first time out accuracy wise, but I had a total of 8 ftf's in 120 rds. I think part of it was ammo (it did NOT like Remington FMJ), part of it was probably my limpwristing or form, and part of it is the fact that it's tight and needs to be broken in I think. We'll see. I'm going to put another couple of hundred through it and see how it does before sending it off or doing anything to it.

It kicks like a rented mule though, my .45 SA GI Champion is a downright pleasure to shoot compared to this little beast. But it sure is light, and disappears in a front pocket!

Thx for feedback. The ''rented mule'' syndrome - haha ... yeah, sorta inevitable. My R9 is pretty ''brisk'' too!!!

I doubt actually my P3 is really broken in fully - I oughta give it a load more excercize and with at least brass cased ammo. Anyways - as long as reliability is there - it is a well useful tool.... I must persevere.

OLD BUT DEPENDABLE

I BOUGHT A WALTHER MODEL 8 .25 AUTO. IT HAS SEEN SOME WARE AND WAS MADE AND USED IN WW2, BUT I HAVE RAN ABOUT 100 ROUNDS THROUGH IT AND IT HAS ONLY MISFED A COUPLE OF TIMES. I CARRY THE PISTOL IN AN ANKLE HOLSTER WHEN I AM ON DUTY. IT'S PERFECT IN SIZE AND WEIGHT FOR THE ROLE AS A BACKUP.

I'll have to dig up pics when I'm more awake, but I like my Kel-Tec P-3AT that I got a couple weeks ago. Its had 200 rounds of WWB and a few rounds of 90gr Speer GDHPs thru it. It's been flawless in my hands; a friend who's new to shooting had one FTE with it. It worked fine for him after I told him to get a tighter grip and lock his wrist. I was breaking it in and he wanted to shoot it after having enjoying my S&W M&P in 38 Spcl. and another friend's Kimber and Hi Power. He was doin great walkin coke cans up the dirt berm with the Kimber & the M&P so we turned him loose with the little Kel Tec - otherwise I wouldn't have a beginner shooting a true mouse gun like the P-3AT

This is one of my favorite guns. Very small, but comfortable to shoot. Easy to conceal, reliable and it has GRAVITAS (my word of the day).:)

Edit: Post deleted since my sarcasm came off harshly without vocal inflection found in face to face conversation.
