Move to Libya to exercise 2nd amendment?

Though when you think about it, Libya can turn into one of two things now.

1. Islamic Theocracy. Unlikely given that the tribes vary from hard-line Wahhabist to porn-loving, beer-drinking madmen. It's also the case that Gadhafi has been screaming that it was every Libyan Muslim's duty to God to defend her against the drug addicts (rebels), so someone trying to preach Sharia right after the war won't be given the best welcome.

2. Democracy. More likely in that the individual area's of Libya would easily be converted into "states" like we have here. The Transitional Council will need major adjustments before this happens though. Currently the best way to get in it is to kill someone already there, and that just doesn't produce a functioning Democracy.

As to the Right to Bear Arms, Libya has a good chance of getting it's own 2nd Amendment if it becomes a Democracy. It took honest citizens picking up arms to remove Gadhafi and when/if they go to write a constitution, forcing people to give them up and accept total Government control isn't going to be accepted by people who risked their lives to remove a dictator. Four to one odds weapons are allowed.
