Moving from Virginia to Oregon

Good morning. In a month or 2 I will be relocating to Oregon. I have my concealed carry license here in Virginia. I would like to continue to ccw when I arrive in OR. Oregon does not honor a VA ccw I dont believe. What are my options here?

After a quick browse of Handgunlaw.us, it looks like walk around unarmed until you can complete the Oregon permit process and get your permit. I am not a lawyer, pretend to be one, and I also did not stay in a Holiday Inn last night

Mixed emotions for you, RKBA wise. Both states have bolted towards PC gunwise.

High cost of living, high housing prices, liberal run state heading towards Kali as fast as they can. PERS shortfall is going to bankrupt the state. Hunting is so-so at best, fishing is becoming more and more restricted. 9% income tax.
