I have a stock Colt 6920 that I want to get a Magpul Gen 2 MS3 sling for. Can some one tell me what else I have to buy to use this sling on this stock carbine. Attachment points etc?

If you go with the standard MS3 (with clips) you'll need some kind of reciever end plate with a loop like Magpul's ASAP. There are a bunch out there. To use it in two point mode you'll need a forward loop for the sling to clip to.

Assuming a stock 6920 with no rails something that mounts on the side of the barrel like a M203 sling mount, or the one linked below will allow the rifle to hang right.

If you have rails, or an MOE handguard there are mounts designed for those.

Go with the MS1. Has loose ends that you wrap around the front and rear sling loops.

Same as the MS3, just without the clips, and cheaper because of it.

No it's not. A MS1 doesn't have the option of single point mode, unless you buy adaptors, that will end up costing more than an MS3.

It's a $10 difference if the MS1 is built into an MS3... big deal. And if OP doesn't need single-point capability or doesn't need the clips, it's pointless for him to get it if he can get an MS1 for $33...

The MS1 will work better with the A2 front loop and M4 (or MOE, if he has an MOE version of the 6920) stock loop than the MS3 anyway.

Right, but he asked about the MS3. So one assumes he wants that feature set, not a different one.
