I know about movement from high country to lower elevations in winter, but these guys are talking 150 miles.

Excellent quality video. This is one everyone needs to click on and watch. Thanks for posting. I'm far from a mule deer expert but to migrate that far was a big surprise to me. I just wonder if this is common with all mule deer, or if this is an isolated behavior with this herd.

That video was fantastic, I still have a problem with Mule deer migrating over 150 miles. Like you I figured in the winter they might go down to a lower elevation, but 150+ miles just blows my mind. Thanks for providing it.

Interesting and good footage. The mulies around here migrate from the sugar beets to the corn, then into the alfalfa.

Great video Art, I hunted mule deer around Meeker, Colorado several years ago and there was similar migration in that area. I was amazed that an area filled with mule deer in the summer would be void of them in November, and they would be many miles away.
