A friend and I went to the muzzleloading match at Berryville, AR yesterday to snoop around and see what goes on. We found many really nice people, great guns, and it was a beautiful day. If you have a chance, go there and compete; the next matches will be Sept. 28,29, & 30.
At one of the many merchant tents, I found a NIB R.O.A., stainless with adjustable sights and long barrel, for $395. It was simply the find of the day for me!
BTW, for you shooters that use Ransom Rests, Midway USA has moldable inserts for their rest that are supposed to be compatible with the Ransom Rest. That means that I can actually shoot some of my BP guns from my Ransom Rest.
