My AR got super hot on a long car trip. You think there's any damage?

There have been a few discussions on polymer parts if guns melting that were hysterical to read.
Heat is real and in the southwest steel left out in the sun doesn't have to be looked at for to long before it's set back down.
 
Wht if internal car temps change quickly from warm, then to cool humid air? Cool air can't hold as much moisture, but it could still be present as condensation. That's why we sometimes must quickly brief/ 'do' Cat II or III approaches.

A guy told me that his rifle had sudden corrosion on it after one night because of warm quickly into cool temps with ambient moisture.
Dumb question, but am retiring in three Weeks and have nothing to lose.
