Lookie what showed up in the mail Friday! :what:

Ordered in November of last year...really, I have wanted a snubbie tube for my Dan Wesson 15-2VH .357 for 30+ years and now I finally have one! Shown here mounted on the inherited gun along with the Hogue fancy wood finger grip stock.

I have not shot it yet. That'll be next Friday. I am stoked to the max. The fit and finish on this is every bit as good as original and I am highly impressed with the quality. Highly recommending EWK Arms for new barrel assemblies for the old Dan Wesson revolvers. Worth the wait.

How did you order? I want a 4" and the website just says out of stock and has a "Notify Me" option.

Find the barrel option you want and make an account. The order the barrel and they will send you an estimated delivery date - the way I understand it, the proprietor actually has these made to order as he gets orders for particular items. This is probably why the quality is so high.

I ordered mine last November. Be aware that you can also get replacement barrel assemblies for Dan Wesson revolvers directly from CZ-USA (sorry, no link and I lost the phone number) and get them in like 6 weeks by ordering but they are quite a bit more expensive.

Send Erik at EWK an email thru the website - he seems an upstanding guy providing excellent resources for DW revolvers but it's a part time adventure for him. Quality and price are outstanding but we have to wait for it as it's all special order.

I've purchased a bunch of stuff from EWK. Erik is a great guy. I think this is a side business for him and that's why things can take a little while, but he makes great stuff and he's always been very easy to deal with. I don't know if he does the bluing, but it's my understanding he builds everything himself.

I want one or two of his three inch assemblies... but never have got on the list

I should get on that...

Just logged in and tried. The site isn't accepting orders. The only option you have is getting on the list to be notified. I was already on that.

He's probably overwhelmed with orders at the moment. Sign up to be notified, or just check back often. He does regular production runs, but there is a lot more demand than you might imagine.

Contact him via email or thru the site. He responds pretty well to the personal touch and seems very congenial...very up front about you options, costs, time frame and everything.

I really liked that. Took a lot of time and some hoop jumping but it was well worth it in my opinion. Speculation about the availability is all well and good but asking him directly is going to get better results.
