After installing a Wolff spring in my Ruger Redhawk I was having the occasional light primer strike with CCI primers. I was going to purchase an extended firing pin, but after researching the issue a bit more I decided to order shims from Lance Shively at Triggershims.com. My hammer had marks on it from contacting the frame so I knew there was interference. I ordered trigger, hammer dog, and hammer shims. It took me a couple of attempts to get the trigger shims in place, but I was successful. The hammer and hammer dog shims were pretty easily done.

Yesterday I went through a box of 50 rounds, all double action, without one light primer strike. I don't have a trigger gauge to know what the before and after pull was, but I'm very happy to return the reliability back to the Redhawk. I also did my GP100, looking forward to its next range trip!

I had a similar problem on my SP101. The hammer was off to one side..no interference with shoot-a-bility... just aesthetically displeasing. Shims put it center.

I have used shims from them on several revolvers, particularly Rugers. If careful measurements are taken, they can make a very big difference for sure. I usually order a couple thicknesses around my measurements then swap them around to get the best result. They are cheap, its easier to have more than you need than to have to wait for a different thickness to arrive.

Lance provides great customer service and good quality, I definitely give him the highest recommendation.
