Started life as a Ruger Commander, full review including shot from ransom rest Here
Original weight 36.40 ounces
Current weight after putting it on a diet lightening the slide and bobtailing the frame it is 31.68 ounces
Swapped out all the black Ruger parts except for the magazine release so that it would match the black screws and black pins. The beavertail grip safety is a Smith & Alexander, the rest of the parts are now hand fitted Ed Brown parts including the mainspring housing.
Old trigger broke at 3.5pounds new trigger breaks at 2.10 pounds.
Changed out the old sites for Trijicon front and Novak rear.
Before and after pictures attached.
My gunsmith did a great job what do you guys think? I absolutely love it.
