Me and the boss got to talking about carrying and when I told him how I carried in a tuckable IWB holter at work since I have to tuck in my shirt he asked why I didn't just open carry. Now he is pro gun although he doesn't oun but a couple of hunting rifles and he didn't know anything about open carry until I told him. I said "so you don't mind me walking around the office with a gun on my hip." He said he didn't so who am I to argue.

I stopped by the gas station on the way to work this morning to pick up a roll of dip and while the clerk didn't notice it I could see the two guys behind me in line in a mirror behind the counter whispering and pointing at it. All in all it is going O.K. so far and might I add much more comfortable.

you owe your boss a range trip to play with a handgun or two :p

that should both settle it up and maybe get him hooked. :)

great boss, ya lucky bastidge. Sadly, OC at work, while not illegal, would get me fired instantly (as would ccw if I did it, and got found out, which is likely due to me having to change clothes at work 10+ times a night in a locker room with others).

Beyond that, OC (or at least OWB) is definitley WAY more physically comfortable IMHO, and I do it every time I carry any more (OWB, not nessecarily OC, but I do that a lot, and even my OWB concealed carry is barely concealed, and only by coincidence because it happens to be cold enough to wear a jacket.)

I've open carried for about 30 years. You get to where you don't even think about it.

I can only think of one person who asked me why and I just told him "because it is my right" and walked away.

OTOH, I live in rural Arizona and the local sheriff estimates 80 percent of all households have at least one gun.

Congrats on the super boss! If I wasn't "stuck" (read: Contractually obligated/Enlisted) with this job, I'd definitely be enjoying that way of thinking. Kudos!

Carry on.

Good for you!

What if buying books and magazines had to be done secretly? What if only concealed voting were allowed? What if we couldn't freely express our thoughts where alcohol is served?

Think the leftist extremists would have a hissing fit?

suepr hot exotic.......

just kidding.

Equipment Engineer at a semiconductor manufacturer. most areas are a class 1 cleanroom, and surigcal scrubs only must be worn under a head to toe Tyvek type suit with rubber gloves, boots, etc. Real pain in the rump, hot and uncomfotable, but its all about keeping any dirt, dust, skin, etc paricles out of the air.
