My first handgun (pic included)

Been shooting long guns for 15 years (since I was 6) and have been shooting friends handguns for the last 3 years. Well I'm finally 21 and today I picked up my first handgun. It's an HK P2000 in .40 S&W. I can't wait to put some rounds through it. Just thought I'd share a pic with everyone here and thank everyone for all the advice and reviews I've read on here.

First rate gun! I have the 9mm version of the P2000 and am very pleased with it. It is definately one of the best looking polymer handguns on the market. I've been throwing around the idea of a SK in LEM b/c I don't like the DA pull of the V3. Can't decide though. You will probably take many more pictures too. I have a bad habit of spending my spare time thinking up photo shots. Congrats again!

Nice to see a first time owner go for quality for a change instead of buying a Taurus, Hi-Point or Ruger. You sure got it right...congrat's...
 
i wish i could buy another HK this weekend. I guess i'll have to settle by throwing some lead down range with this one. I'm pretty pumped about trying it out.
