My belated Christmas present to myself. Came in yesterday and I see it getting lots of carry time.

Mr Becker's famous BK11..(the Ka-Bar made one)

Good for you, you deserve it. If you dont treat youself now and then, life is boring.

I want one ! details please, specs, steel, who carries it? Thats a perfect excuse for me to buy another knife

It is 1095 with a touch of Chrome Vandium, blade is 3.25", OAL is 6.75 ".

Got mine from New Graham.

Rigged up some paracord loops for belt carry, it makes a sweet, light, little EDC.

:D Call me a copy cat if you like but I just ordered one, I have been looking for a necker for some time and that one fits the bill!
Thanks Todd
Doc

I wouldn't say a nice Case is dirtying up anything.;) I don't recognize the model though. But then I am more of a USA Schrade guy.I only own three Case knives.

bikerdoc.... Just don't put the blame on me if your better-half complains about another knife.

No problem with better half. The great thing about a second wife (of 15 years) is you make a more compatable choice, She may want it and I'll get another, just like she takes a liking to some of my guns.

.

Very nice. I have an older Necker. It came very sharp and it was indeed
easy to rig some acceptable 'cord loops for belt carry. Your sheath is
quite different from mine, though. Ka-bar makes them now? I just can't
keep up. :(

:D As Mr flintstone used to say "Yaba daba Do" My Becker BK 11 came yesterday about 4. Stayed up until midnight playing with it:scrutiny:

As Todd said, great knife. Not very pretty, but then again neither am I:(

For me, at this time in my recovery, it is perfect, light on the neck, easy to access with one hand, sturdy and substancial. It just says go ahead use me!! Kydex sheath is great.
This is a tool that will take care of a lot of my every day needs.
Made in the USA by Ka-Bar, of 1095. Fairly sharp out of the box. A lot sharper this morning. Spent a a lot of time getting rid of the tool marks and polishing the bevel.
Wrapped the handle with the para cord it came with, not sure if I wont experiment with something else.
All in all a great knife for me

Glad you like it doc.

I think it is a well designed chunk of 1095. Perfect for my needs for EDC and woods bumming.

The only "problem" with mine is the grind is uneven near the tip. Not a big deal and minor imperfections are to be expected on a mass produced $32.50 knife. It won't hurt the functioning any.The sheath is OK. A little large for my taste. I can see dressing it up in new Kydex in my future.

On another forum that most of us belong to,Mr Becker suggested that possibly factory scales might be available in a year or so.

Just wish I was a knifenut back when these were avaiable from Camillus.:(

I have a couple that Ethan gave me. One of the Camillus's and a proto for the KaBar before they came out. I "paid" for one of the San Mai versions. Good "little" knives.

Mac,

Pommel is a bottle opener and wire twister per the promo stuff.

Todd with all this time on my hands I may use thos three hole to my advantage and beat mr Becker.

I also had an area near the tip but only on one side, worked it out slowly and carefully
