Way to go and your first time out the gate as well. Amazing find. I've yet to find a Diamondback either .22 or .38 here in my area for sale.

Now thats one beautiful gun in the original post....love how clean it is, such a classy and iconic looking gun.
Just picked one up tonight, $400 was more than I could afford but I had to have it....Its not anywhere near as clean as yours but it has aged well, and I think it makes for one hairy chested snubnose :)

You did good at $400 I would have dished out the cash without even thinking twice about it. You can always send it to Colt for $325 plus shipping down the road. Still a nice snubby :)

I have been looking for a "used" Diamondback like that for years. I wanted one as my truck gun. For now, I substituted a Detective Special that shows some wear.

Nice find,I wouldnt have passed that up either ! I dont have the snake bite but I do have an older in great cond. Colt lawman MK III .357 snubber and I fell in love with it when a friend wanted to give it up.Now I want another snub nose pistol to start my collection :D Good luck with your new snubber, it's a nice piece !

My favorite revolver of all I own is also a Colt lawman MKIII 2".
