My girls first deer

3 yr old spike taken while on the ground hunting public property. 50 yard shot through the left shoulder taking out the heart and lungs. She was using remington managed recoil 270 out of my CDL. NO PASSTHRU but crazy internal damage and a 40 yard trail. She don't care about it though. [emoji16]

I'm sure that deer will be the first of many for her. Reminds me of my first deer (also killed with a Remington 700 in .270)

Great!! Glad to see the ladies getting blood on them.

I'm taking my 9 yo granddaughter hunting for the first time next month. She asked me to take her because her folks won't. I'm happy to do it .. overjoyed.
