My License Arrived Today!

After two months of waiting, my Florida Concealed Handgun and Weapons License arrived in the mail today. It felt like Christmas. Now I won't have to deposit my gun in the safe every time I head out the door.

Did you send in paper fingerprint cards?? with the new Electronic fingerprinting, it takes like 2 weeks...older fingerprint cards take much longer

Two months. I would have thought that Florida being the gran daddy of shall issue laws would be faster. Arizona is under two weeks.

My town doesn't do the electronic finger-print thing, so it took about 8 weeks.

I'm going to be carrying my Bersa .380 most of the time for the next few weeks until my belt and XD-40 holsters get here. A flimsy dress belt and the XD Gear holster do not exactly make for a great carrying solution. The Bersa, however, is light enough to work just fine in an Uncle Mike's Belt Slide and compact enough to work great in my Galco Pocket Protector.
