My New 10/22

I just picked up a Ruger 10/22 Talo Sporter from my LGS. I haven’t even had time to shoot it yet but I’ve got a feeling it’s a real keeper.
Today I dropped in a BX trigger and mounted a 3-9x40 scope on it. I can’t wait to shoot it.

Any 10/22 is a "keeper". When you get bored with it there's a zillion after-market mods to change it into something totally different, if that's what you want, or to just make it better, if that's what you need.

is that a tapered barrel? I like the Magpul stock and I’ve been researching them with the thought being that if the hardwood stock was problematic in ether the LOP or cheek-weld I would get one. That being said, I’m very happy to say that the stock is perfect for me on both counts.
