My new carry piece. Glock 43 9mm

So I finally gave in and got a Glock 43 TALO edition. And what can I say.....I love this little gun! Single stack 9mm with 8+1 rounds thanks to the guys at Taran Tactical. I love these new +2 round, generation 2 baseplates. Added a Vickers Tactical mag release and a Ghost Edge self defense connector and polished the internals. Trigger is very nice now. Picked up the Patriot Concealment Systems carbon fiber holster and im good to go! This pistol carries like a dream. Strong side, appendix, 430 position......doesn't matter. I rarely know its there!

I was looking at the G43/26, M&P Shield 9 and LC9s this weekend myself. Ended up going with the LC9s because I liked the trigger more than the Glock, and it was quite a bit cheaper given the sale I found.

I did like the Glocks though. Congrats.

My only Glock and only 9mm. After getting it, my predjudice for the G's changed and my eyes have wandered to checking out other models but I really don't need another one.
$34.99 for a +2 Taran Tactical baseplate plus shipping is tough to fork over for me.
I am sure they are a big plus but I can't bring myself to do it .... yet.
For me, I'd rather spend a little less and get an extra mag.
There are Pearce Grip Magazine Base Pad Glock 43 Plus One Polymer Black for $10.00 plus shipping at Midway. I like the looks of these but I have no idea how well they work.
Nice holster too!

I'm also a big fan of the G43 and like you, I find it carries well AIWB.

My only modification is the Pearce +1 "pinkie" extensions.

I hear ya brother! I got mine for $30 a piece and it was hard to swallow but let me tell you, feels like a whole new gun! Even points better. Had the pearce +1 first. Glad I bought these. You will get them.....eventually

I agree 100%. Does the exact same for me. Easier to handle, fire and control. Turned it into a whole new gun!

Just checked out their website and Taran Tactical makes baseplates and assembled +1 and +2 mags for the G42 too, which I hope will be my next gun. Good to know!
