Alrighty!
This one started life as a beater 6½" Ruger flat-top .357Mag. Jim Stroh rechambered the cylinder to .44Spl, installed a new premium barrel (PacNor or Douglas, don't remember), his beautiful custom front sight, a cylinder bushing, blackpowder bevel on the cylinder, custom basepin, action job, 2lb trigger, matte hard chrome finish and was originally fitted with BluMagnum smooth stags. It has since been restocked in antique paper micarta by CLC. It is one of my favorite sixguns. It is a fine shooter and more consistently accurate than any other I own.
This one was a shorty Super Blackhawk .44 that I converted to a Bisley. I then sent it to David Clements for his custom front sight, Bowen target rear, warning removal, action job, freewheel, roundbutt, lanyard ring, #5 basepin, crescent ejector and stocked in american holly by CLC. It's another favorite and gets used more often than most. It was a a fine shooter out of the box and groups into 2"@50yds. Nothing relating to accuracy was altered on this sixgun.
This one was a regular 7½" Bisley .44Mag that David Clements fully accurized and installed his custom front sight, recut the crown, barrel set back and the forcing cone recut, bushed cylinder, minimum headspace, freewheeled cylinder, action job, #5 basepin, checkered ejector, warning removal, Turnbull case colors on the frame, hammer and trigger and reblued the rest. These are old grips and it has since been restocked in fancy black walnut by CLC. Another 2"@50yd shooter.
This one was part of a special deal the members of Sixgunner.com put together about ten years ago with special group pricing through Lipsey's, David Clements and Lett Grips. Started life as a 5½" Bisley Vaquero .45Colt. It was originally fully tuned and accurized, the warning removed, fitted with a dovetail front sight and BluMagnum ivory micarta. I later sent it back to Clements to shorten the barrel to 4½", install his pre-war S&W style adjustable rear sight, custom post front sight, blackpowder bevel, roundbutt and Bowen lanyard ring. Much happier with this configuration but I'll eventually have CLC fit it with some antique paper micarta like the flat-top above.
