Last week I bought a nice clean square butt 2" M10-5 in a private sale from a gentleman.....the serail # is: D7405xx.....would some kind soul with a book date it for me.

This will get carried....Rob at "Simply Rugged" is making a Sourdough pancake holster for it in oxblood with fist scale stamping.....and I'm even going to put some fancy stag grips on it I bought from Patick Grashorn.

Thanks in advance for helping me date the revolver .

Nice K-frame... I'm looking for one just like it!

Thanks !....this one came right off the Buy/sell forums here on The High Road....$260 shipped plus a transfer fee.....not too bad. I

I'll keep my eyes "peeled", Srigs, and of I see one reasonably priced I'll contact you. Patience and persistence are the key.

1974-1975

Nice M, a Tyler T would look sharp with the stags

Thanks for the date, Will5A1.......I'm thinking a black Tyler-T is the way to go too with the Elk stag grips.

Nice pistola.. I have one like it in nickle.

Be sure and give us a review of the Simply Rugged Holster when it arrives.

I have been eye balling them for a couple of revolvers myself.

I would be very interested your evaluation.

Will do......I'm looking forward to receiving the holster.
I'm sure we would all like to see a picture of your nickel M10, Iggy......there's just something about a short barrel nickel K frame..... they're real handsome !

Very nice Diamondback!

Check the pin in the barrel lug for sticking.....Very nice revolver!

Thanks XavierBreath !

I see what you mean about the pin.....thanks for the tip !!!

Very nice indeed, my friend~!:)

I've got a RB Smith & Wesson 2" factory nickel model 10 that wears a new
set of Pachmayr "professional" grips. I would like to find an original set of
the old factory original walnut grips with the S&W logo for it; but I've not
been able too come across a set just yet. I will be checking in at the next
gunshow, in hopes of finding a set~!;) :D

Very Nice. Congrats. My 2" Model 10 is my favorite gun. Good luck with it. Bill

That's a fine looking revolver, Iggy...............it's hard to beat a S&W short barrel, nickle, K frame for looks !

Everyone today talks about and raves about the J-frame snubbies.. I carry one daily, but for me the true classic Snub nose revolver is the Model 10.

Every old time plain clothes cop I ever knew carried a medium frame snub..
