Where are you getting the $200?

Edit: Oh wait, I get it. You figure the $400 was gone anyway since you were buying the LCP, so it's only going to cost you an extra $200.

I have been pocket carrying a P3AT for a couple years now. It's getting a bit loose, starting to show some wear... When the Ruger came out, I thought to myself that perhaps it was time to replace the P3AT with something a little better quality. My P3AT has been 100%, but it's not exactly something you can be proud to own.

After a little more looking, I don't really think the Ruger is any better quality than the P3AT is. They pay a little closer attention to mold flash on the plastic, and the shape of the grip is a little fancier, but it really doesn't appear to be any different from what I already have.

Now, that darned Kahr shows up on the market. Suddenly, there is a higher quality, micro-small, ultralight .380 available. $600 or not, I'm just going to have to have one. I'll probably wait a while... make sure the bugs have been worked out, but I just have to have one.

If these .380's get any smaller I am going to have to get out a microscope to find the trigger.

Kahr P380

definitely will be one of those in my stables also. Have the PM9 and love it, have the K9 and love it, and this little baby although not as cheap made as the kt is either, but to me certainly looks worth the price. My dealer has priced me $550 out the door when he gets one in. Kinda figured kahr would do it right and they just took the PM9 and scaled it all down. Wanna bet we see a cw380 in the near future. then it will give the Ruger a run for the money. I just got my PM9 back from cylinder and slide for some serious mods done to it. When I can get my son to photo it I will share it with the board. This is really nice little fightin gun.

Wally, that PM40 is just one awsome little handgun. I debated about it or the OM9 but went witht he 9 as all our guns are 9's and ammo is just so much lower in price to punch paper with. I have 9800 flawless rounds through my PM9. When compared to the kt's 380 and 9mm, not alot of difference, but certainly alot more gun IMO. nice photos..

.380s

I like .380s. I have 5 at the moment, buying another Llama today and a FI model D this weekend. One of those two will probably end up replacing the P3AT I have been carrying for years.
Still waiting to handle the Ruger, but I'm leaning away from plastic at the moment.

When the Kahr is jaming and having all kinds of trouble . Will the be called a POS like people call KT's Or will it be a great pistol that just need a little adjustment. Just because its a Kahr and a high $ 380. Doesn't mean it will be perfect.

u got a point

if it acts like the kt, it sure will be called a POS. Hopefully for the price it will be better all the way around. I know my PM9 certainly is flawless and my k9 is flawless, and u can bet when I get my P380 kahr, I will shoot it like I stole it and if it is a POS like my 3 kt's were, I will peddle it ASAP. I have no problems with that at all. It either works or it is GONE.

Wonder if they will have an all stainless version eventually? Unecessary, but I would probably buy my first .380 if they did.

Yeah Kahr's not the best, but once I got past the excess plastic mold lines peeling off when it was new, I'm pretty pleased with my pm9. The market needed this IMO- for those who want a .380 with a little higher quality than kel-tec (and now ruger), but didn't want to spend a grand on a rohrbaugh. This one splits the difference on price and probably quality too.

Thanks for sharing.

I still havent seen anything better than the Colt series of .380's
My wife carries a Mustang Pocketlite and I carry a .380 Government Pocketlite in the summer.

Wow! They are $275.00 in my neck of the woods.

Can't find them in my neck of the woods, but I'm getting one for 279.00 shipped with a 20.00 transfer fee.

that works out about the same as 279.00 local plus sales tax.

I'm happy :)

Will be interesting to see what the reserve amount is.

I think Jocko will probably be getting a great price for his at $550 OTD as most dealers will probably be asking alot more for a while.

Still a $500 + .380 gives me pause.

The LCP around here is in stores for $350 but can be had for the upper $200's

Anyone see the Walther 380 and the Sig 380 and a Taurus too from the shot show pics?

I was set on getting a Kahr Arms P380 as a replacement for my Kel-Tec P32.
But, now that SIG announced their P238 (Colt Mustang clone), I may wait until that comes out to replace my Kel-Tec.

I miss my Colt Mustang. :(

I'm still high bidder

That and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee...maybe

The question is will you be bidding higher? Did you ask the seller the reserve price or are you a gambler ;)

Yep!

The problem is: the Sig is bigger and heavier than the Kahr. Sig=15 oz., Kahr=9oz. (or something like that.)
But that Sig sure is pretty!
