I've been very happy with THR, but the one thing that has disappointed me is the lack of pictures in the threads. Maybe I am spoiled from the Volkswagen forum I visit regularly (hardly a thread without pictures included!). I am currently trying to decide on my next handgun, post up some pictures and help me out! Reliability and accuracy is of course an issue, but I want a pretty gun too! I will say I am 1911 prone and the Springfield EMP or a Commander sized gun is leading the pack, but I've also been considering the Glock 19. My cap is about $1100.
My next purchase? Convince me with PICTURES!

Time for my usual counterpoint.
Mud-rail plain STI in water with icky stuff growing in it.
Commander slide, Officer's grip, accurate, reliable.
Not pretty, a touch over budget and of dubious availability. The Tac 4.15 less magwell is close, though.

From a perhaps meaningless exercise to see if it would malf from being dunked in what I thought would pass as typical urban street cheese. Doesn't prove anything, but I felt better. Member Chuck R. was doing similar stuff to his Les Baer Stinger. FWIW, both ran fine although I wouldn't expect someone with a shiny new Nighthawk to join in the festivities.
