My personal website is blocked in a UA club at Denver airport but THR isn't!!

What the heck?! I'm waiting for a connecting flight at Denver airport and am reading posts on THR. I noticed that images in my posts aren't showing up so I clicked the link in my signature only to receive the message "Not allowed to browse weapons/bombs category". It's ironic that the THR site is fine but my rinky dink website is on UA's no fly list!! :banghead: It's always the little guy that suffers!

This is probably because of the web filter provider the Denver Airport is using. They probably set the thing up and left the default settings on.

If I may ask what is the name of your website? For example www.mywebsite.com or www.mywebsite.org likely won't be blocked but a domain name with for example gun in it likely will be blocked. An example www.mygunwebsite.com or www.mygunwebsite.org will likely be blocked. In this case the server is using simple word filtering, the server also may work from a list of blocked sites or some use metadata which is pretty slick. Read about metadata here. A Google of "metadata" should bring up more information.

Also, have you noticed any black unmarked helicopters flying above your dwelling or strangers in black suits driving black Suburbabans following you?

Yeah, it was some time before the filters here at work caught THR as being within the same categories of other sites that had long-already been blocked.

Funny, though, was that TaurusArmed.net took even longer..
