My reloaded 40 S&W ammo is awesome

I took my first batch of 100 rounds out to the range today, test them out, they are awesome. I loaded 7 grains of Unique behind a 160 grain FMJ with Remington cases and CCI primers. I shot one ragged hole with 40 rounds, from 20 yards, this is no joke. This ammo is far more accurate than any factory ammo I have shot to date. This is not a minimum load, nor is it a maximum load, its somewhere in the middle. However, these little suckers have some pop to them. I'm definitely sticking to this load, its awesome.

It's a pretty fun experience to shoot your first hand loads. I was nervous on my very first shot. I just closed my eyes and hoped nothing blew up. Once I realized that my loads actually worked it was quite a thrill.

Congrats on your first sucessful batch. Hand loading has become an important part of my shooting experience. Almost as fun as shooting it's self. (Almost)

Ha ha, my very first loads were WAY overcrimped .45acp and would not load. I lighted up (way up) on the crimp and it worked great also. I really like berry's .40 for 10mm. Especially the 135gr and 180grHP's.
