Now I can go back to getting more semi-auto's :)

Let's see, I have a:

Smith and Wesson model 66 4" .357 magnum
Smith and Wesson model 27 4" .357 magnum
Smith and Wesson model 360 Scandium .357 magnum
Ruger Single Six .22 lr/magnum

I don't need anymore, a good basic collection.

Okay okay, maybe a Smith and Wesson .44 magnum N-frame down the road.

Or a Smith and Wesson model 686,

Or a Smith and Wesson model 586,

Or one with 2-1/2" barrel,

Or one with 3-1/2" barrel,

Or...

NO! Must stop.

Collection Complete???

Min,
I hate to burst your bubble but if you LIKE REVOLVERS your collection will NEVER be COMPLETE.:D

I firmly don't believe ANY revolver collection is ever complete. There are always interesting new revolvers out there that can enhance a collection. The limiting factor, of course is price. Most of us can't afford to buy EVERY single revolver model in every single caliber. ;)

You obviously haven't been bitten by a snake yet. I've been bitten by both the Python and the Anaconda (both with 6 inch barrels).

As others have said.......no collection is ever complete! I know for I am collecting guns of all types. I am truly a gunaholic. One is too few and there are never enough owned by me.

Hard to stop collecting revolvers because there is always one more to add. So many models and so little resources.

You could get some large bore single action revolvers , I didn't see any of those in your collection .

No revolver collection is complete until you have every single revolver ever made.

psst... you're competing against every one else here at THR, all the other websites and the mfgs, and finally numerous govt. entities.

Greeting's All-

Well, I need a few more revolver's in my collection; to keep
these company:

a) Smith & Wesson "Chief's Special" model 60 circa 79-80
(- nothing) with a 2" barrel and "R" s/n prefix

b) Smith & Wesson 6" barrel 686-5 L-frame .357 magnum

and

c) Smith & Wesson 5" barrel 629-5 N-frame .44 magnum
"Classic"

These few Smith's are getting mighty lonely on these cold,
dark night's! May be able to sneak a few older Smith's by
the wife before too long.:uhoh:

Best Wishes,

Needs & wants

My collection is very small, but I"m happy with the ones I have.

1937 Brazilian contract 3rd model Hand Ejector
Circa 1946~1948 2" M&P
4" M28 (no dash)
2" M36-7

I want lots more, but two holes I really want filled in the collection are a 3" M13 or a 2 1/2" M19 and a 4" or 5" M25 in either .45LC or .45ACP.

If I can get the above two, I'll be happy.

Jeff

"My revolver collection is complete "

How sad. :( I hope I never end up in this situation.

Attention all: I am really Bill Gates, and I have decided I WILL buy two of each revolver ever made in every caliber. Except for the NEW Smith and Wessons of course - don't want to support companies that strike deals with the federal government. I hate the federal government...but that's another topic.

:D :D :D

Thanks for all the suggestions guys (and gals).

I shouldn't have said the collection was complete - just that I got a good sample of some revolvers I want for now.

To those interested, I got all my Smith revolvers used, private sale, EXCEPT for the Scandium - that was new. I'm sorry. :(

By the way, I love the revolvers I got.
