I've mentioned it a few times before so I thought I'd go into a little more detail.

The SAR9 is possibly one of the most rigorously tested polymer handgun on the market. Back when the Turkish Military decided they wanted to switch over to Glocks the Government decided to give Turkish manufacturers a first run at satisfyiing the military's needs. So was born the SAR9, a combination of an improved Glock upper nestled on a H&K Vp9 lower made by Turkey's largest gun manufacturer. It is currently in use not only in Turkey but with many other countries militarys and police forces.
It's a 9mm, obviously....... 4.4" barrel, 7.5" overall length, 5" height and 1" wide with ambi manual safeties. Comes with changeable backstraps and side panels (20 degree grip angle), adjustable (rear only) 3 dot white sights, striker fired with 2 17 round metal magazines. Mine being the first iteration is only single action and definitely takes 124 grain NATO rounds until the recoil spring "softens" up a bit. Front and rear serrations on the slide, slight rounded slide upper edges with a pic rail forward of the large trigger guard that can easily accommodate gloved fingers.
It is surprisingly soft shooting and easy to get back on target. Of course they now have multiple models both full size and carry size, poly as well as a metal CZ75 clone. While they are on a par with Canik, Glock and many others (better in some aspects) they don't yet have their CS as built up as say Canik does so that's probably about their only current drawback. It is however probably the most comfortable and naturally pointing sidearm I have ever held.

Also forgot to mention it weighs in at 27.8 ozs and they say the trigger pull is 5.9 ozs but mine is definitely lighter than that, I haven't measured it though.

Not clones, about the only that interchanges with the CZ is the sear spring.

It is a tanfoglio clone though.
Yeah, that's right. I forgot. Thanks. Was just looking at CZs so that was on my mind. Oops.

I handled the B9 and like Glocks, I didn't like how it fit my hand. There was a B6 beside it and it felt very good and it left the store with me. I bought traction grips and a piece of their material to cover the entire grip panel with which made it fit even better.. I am very happy with the gun.

They make some interesting guns that are low priced but shoot great. You mentioned the customer service, that is a huge negative for them. I had to deal with their CS 2 years ago when a part fell off my gun. It took multiple calls to get them to finally admit they don't have spare parts. They promised they would take care of me as quick as they could but, like I said, it was 2 years ago and they never did.
BTW, if you ever need mags, contact theluckysnipe, llc. They usually have a great selection.

That's the problem with these guns, spare parts are hard to get, and because they are not CZ clones, one can't simply buy the much easier to find CZ parts and install them.

Even buying tanfoglio parts for replacement for SAR pistols can be dicey.

One of the "fancier" gun shops by me started carrying these, they mostly sell high end stuff like Atlas, Staccato, Wilson etc, but the owner was quite impressed by the SAR guns and started carrying them. I shot the SAR 9 w/ a red dot and was pretty impressed with it, but the Turks always seem to make good stuff.

I was so impressed with the 1st SAR I purchased that I bought a 2nd. I'm weird that way.
My only gripe is the manual safety. I saw a replacement pin was supposed to be in the works a while back that allows one to replace the safety with a pin, but I haven't looked into seeing if they're available yet.

Both of mine are perfectly reliable and as accurate as any of my Glocks, so far. I bought both of mine when they were well under $300 NIB, around $269 IIRC.
