Welcome to THR.

I would contact Bushnell customer service first. THR members have reported very good warranty service with new replacement or product upgrade when scope was out of production.

All Bushnell® products carry a product lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship or materials. Product lifetime is defined as 30 years for Riflescopes ... We may replace your product with a product of equal or better physical condition.
No receipt, warranty card, or product registration is required in order to assert a Warranty claim ... call us at (800) 423-3537

Call bushnell first, my dad just got a new scope last week for a replacement. I gave him a old 3-9 lite site that's probably 30 years old, he was having problems with tracking I believe. It was less then 2 weeks after he sent the scope out on bushnells dime when the new one was delivered. New scope I a 3-9 prime with illuminated dot.

Burris scopes are great for the price next for some more money I'd go with a Leupold, and welcome to thr

Im all for saving money, but on less expensive stuff i dont use the warranty. If it dies i simply upgrade.

And if happy with previous performance, go with same brand.

Stuff does wear out. I accept it.

I have 2 pistol scopes from Burris,,life time warranty, I had a O ring backing out of the body, and they fixed it,,,I guess I will call Bushnell I know I have all the paper work,

My Bushnell 22 lr scope failed at 21 years. Warrenty was for 20 years. Still had the paper work when boughtt.

Bushnell sent me a new Trophy scope, FREE.

My 3x9 Bushnel on my 30-06 hunting rifle must be over 50 years old. Been thur rain/snow & freezing rain, no problems.
I just checked and found the box my scope came in along with the warranty papers,,..I wanted to buy nikon..but they no longer have scopes for guns,,I been looking at the Vortex,,my rifle is for hunting in the woods,,no longer then 100 yards,,maybe 2x7 would be best

I'd avoid any Vortex that's not Japanese, that's usually the razor and higher up scopes. They may have good warranty but boy it gets used alot.

What kind of rifle setup and distance are you looking to shoot with the scope. I like Bushnell and they have a new one the match pro comes with illuminated reticle. I use the high end bushels on my rim firers to shoot at 200 yards. Also have one mounted on a 30-06 that came with my Savage still good after 40 years of use.

Leupold's is a little different. Not complaining, just sayin...

"Built for a lifetime of performance - if at any time your Leupold riflescope, mounts, red dot, binocular, or spotting scope doesn’t perform, we will repair or replace it for free - whether you're the original owner or not. You don’t need proof of ownership or a warranty card, and there’s no time limit. We do this because we believe in superior quality and craftsmanship, and we’re confident your Leupold won’t let you down."
