LOL
My son asked me to help his fiancée learn to shoot so we went to the range and she did great. 11 out of 11 with her first shots at 18 yards on steel plates shooting the Ruger MKIII 22/45 with Burris FFII optic, and 26 out of 27 with a Bushmaster AR with CMMG .22 conversion. She did great with the S&W models 10 and 28 also.
Anyway, my son was trying various pistols and doing well with them, including the Beretta 92 Brigadier, the DW 1911 he had previously claimed as "his," and was shooting a P225 strong hand only and asking if I ever practiced shooting with one hand. He tried some DA shots strong hand and was doing pretty well, and then I showed him the CZ which he hadn't seen or shot before and he liked how it looked with the LOK black grips with red liners, and said, "If I hit every shot with one hand, can this be my pistol?" Stupidly I said, sure.
So I loaded up a full mag of 16 rounds and he took his time, shooting a 2/3ds size torso target, and 12" and 9" plates at 18 yards. He got about halfway through with no misses and his hand started to shake (he's never shot SHO to my knowledge and hasn't shot very much in his life), so he switched to his left hand and continued clanging the plates. He missed one 9" plate but I gave him a mulligan if he managed to hit a 6" plate, which he did with his left hand.
Took him a good while but he finished off the mag and earned his reward. Dang it.
I'm going to miss this thing. Guess I need to buy another CZ.
