Barrel is brushed stainless, pretty much everything else is flat dark earth

" What's the cost of all those parts? "
I have a dealer account with Aero Precision, but suggested retail for all the parts is about $1300.00

" Aero Precision barrel? "
don't know of they make it, or just resell it, but that's where it I ordered it from

" Let us know how you like that AP barrel. I am looking at their 18" or the CMMG 18" for my build. "

I can't speak for the barrels because I never asked them, but Aero Precision makes parts for CMMG (I did ask about the LPK and other small parts), so the barrel may be the same manufacturer also.

final small parts are coming in next week, then I'll post a range report

Aero Precision barrel?

I have an Aero Precision QPQ (Melonite) 10.5" 5.56mm 1:7 twist barrel on my AR pistol build, and I have been very pleased. It is accurate, finished nicely, and obviously has the gas port properly drilled, as it's been 100% reliable with everything I've shot through it so far (from high-quality US-made brass-cased ammo to cheap Russian steel-case). The finish is especially tough, as it resisted my best efforts to booger it up when hammering in the FSB taper pins.

I can't speak to their 7.62mm barrels, but I would imagine they are quality items as well.

well, the lowers done. trigger is a consistent 6 1/2 pounds. no grit or creep, so I'll probably leave it as is. good enough for a hunting gun.

now it's just wait impatiently while the correct barrel nut and delta ring come in.
