my stepdads mauser hsc .380

hey guys my stepdad,who is not with us anymore,had an old mauser hsc in .380 which he bought in what i believe was the late 70's,for cc,however he didnt take great care of it and it had reliability issues,now it has pitting on the sides of the slide,and small pitting near the trigger guard,several years ago he tried to have it fixed,because the safety wouldnt go down,and the slide was slightly pulled back and locked into place,he had those 2 problems fixed,however it still jams up on every shot,can anyone help me out,i know this gun is in a mess,but any help would be greatly appreciated

I had one in the 80's that was brand new and never could get through a magazine without a failure to feed. If it has sentimental value save it as is, if not dump it.
