Which parts are refinished and which are new parts? The hammer looks like the distinctive Taurus 1911 hammer, but the grip safety has grooves on the bump. Just curious how you went about assembling this.

Interesting magwell, who makes it?

All the chromed and polished parts are factory except for the stainless thumb guard and magwell as well as the grips which were all fabricated for me by my gunsmith. I just had my beaver tail grooved by my gunsmith too .

Oh that is so damn sexy! You shouldn't have posted that...you're going to have some clones. I guess mimicry is the best form of a compliment! And I just so happen to have a blued model Taurus as well. Easily the best looking Taurus 1911 I have seen yet.
