I do a lot of traveling around the US and a lot of it is in less than pleasant sides of big cities where all the big industries are. In today's economic and political climate a social breakdown while I'm a few hundred miles from home could make life interesting getting home so in addition to my EDC G43X I also carry a get home bag with me with a 300BO 8.5" pistol and a M&P 40c and spare mags for both.

I have a 9mm on me when allowed, in the arm rest other wise. and a sub200 with 5 20rd mags in a small pack on back of the seat. looks like a college kids pack.

don’t be shocked but my usual travel pieces are 22lr: marlin papooose semiauto takedown rifle in an unfree state that restricts handguns. both a ruger sr22 pistol and naa bugout1 revolver in free places. i can carry more 22lr ammo to allow plinking without relying on buying ammo during my journey. i can hit center mass all day long with a 22lr.
