Purchased 2012 to replace an XD-45 Service that I (stupidly) sold off several years before that, my wonderful pocket full'a shells here just turned 1,000 rounds.

Today I fired 100 rounds of garbage, dogpile steel cased 230 grain ammo that I had left over from the dark days post-Sandy Hook. They all fed, fired, and ejected perfectly. It was when I finished the second box that the spreadsheet on my phone informed me that I had just fired my 1,000th round. This gun really has been great, 1,000 rounds of various FMJ and JHP with nary a malfunction to be found. 45 ACP is expensive and it took me a bit of time to get here, but here we are. Now all I need to do is clean her up...that crap ammo is dirty.

Good to read how well your XD-45c has worked. I bought the older XD-45 4" years ago and happy to say still own it.Don't shoot it a lot because of the cost of.45 Ammo. But it has never had any type of failures. When I first bought it I thought I might need a back up recoil spring Assy. bought one from Spring Field for $14US never needed it yet.
