You guys did great helping me identify my Podewils-Linder mystery rifle so here is the other gun I got in the transaction. The bore is around 3/4 of an inch and it has a crown over a letter "B" proof marks, most of them are double. (Meaning there are two identical marks side by side) It also has a round stamp in the side of the wood portion above the trigger that is a circle in a circle with a large W in the center. In between the two circles you can make out the letters MIA, Q (obliterated) and the numbers 184 and either a 3 or an 8 as the last digit. The inside of the lock plate is marked by a crown over an "F" and is stamped with the number "L118". On the outside of the lock just in front of the hammer is an "A1" beneath which is stamped the number "47". The barrel has a couple of layers of paint in the pictures but is now bead blasted down to bare steel. I haven't got this ready to shoot yet but the rifle is close.:D
Thanks again for your time.

Google found some other examples but nobody seems to know just what they are.
Rock Island Auctions thought theirs was Danish.

It is not really a dueling pistol, more like a pre-revolver "horse pistol" from somebody's army or navy.

I found a Naval Pistol commissioned by Wilhelm of Holland that looked similar except for the buttstock and the buttstock appears identical to an H. Aston US Model 1842 Percussion Pistol but I have yet to find anything that resembles the ringed hammer.
