I just bought a Nagant revolver that has very little wear on it. The problem is that it seizes up. When I try to cock it for single action, it will only go halfway, then stop. It looks as if the cylinder isn't advancing far enough. It works if I advance the cylinder by hand. I marked where the cylinder jams, and it siezes on the same place every time. And, after it fires, sometimes the hammer gets stuck in the forward position, with the triggger not seeming connected to anything.
Another problem is that two empty cases have to be hammered out of the cylinder.
