Apocolyse Now?
It was answered a while back; The Green Berets.
Aldo Ray, as Sgt. Muldoon, answers a reporter's comment that he thought the South Vietnamese govt. ought to fight N. Vietnam alone, calling it a civil war. He starts grabbing weapons off the display board set up for the PR Q&A session. After it's over the reporter, (David Janssen, as Beckworth) goes over to Col. Kirby (John Wayne) and says, "Colonel, your brainwashed Sargent didn't sell me." Kirby: "didn't sell ya what?" Beckworth: "didn't sell me on the idea that we should be in Southeast Asia." Kirby: "You ever been to Southeast Asia?" Beckworth, almost under his breath: "No, I haven't" Kirby: "uh-HUH."

This clip skips the Mudoon quote, but has the exchange with Kirby and Beckworth:

I find it interesting to note that when Sgt. Kinney grabs Beckworth's luggage, Beckworth swings the small bag with the strap down down to his hand. A soldier would have left it shouldered, in order to keep his right hand free. (outside of a combat zone, to salute LT's, but in camp, to be ready for action. )

Here's Muldoon's:

Yup, I misremembered. Two things really hokey about that movie tho: when Wayne smashed the plastic "Matty Matel" M16 adainst the tree, and when he didn't hook up his staticline before jumping from the C47, and nobe of those that did jump had the required staticline extension for C47s. Everyone stopped to talk before jumping....that stick must have been strung out at least a mile.

"And now you understand. Anything goes wrong, anything at all...your fault, my fault, nobody's fault... It won't matter. I'm gonna blow your head off. No matter what else happens, no matter who gets killed, I'm gonna blow your head off."[/QUOTE
John Wayne movie Big Jake.

It sounded familiar and I thought I knew the answer. But I ran it through the Google machine and was wrong so I won't post the answer since I've now cheated. But somebody here HAS to know it.

Here's one:

"Rule #2 - double tap. "
That was the movie that my wife and I watched on our first “not a date” rule #1, cardio!

"Lieutenant Cantrell, with a reputation as a dead shot with all weapons going back to his cadet days on the Hudson somehow misses with his service pistol at 50 yards. A miss mind you that allowed the prisoner to escape."

Sgt. Rutledge (John Ford and James Warner Bellah team up again for another great cavalry picture.)

Here's one for you:

"They're not on anybody's side. We don't have to shoot them."

Dang it! I KNEW that was the film, but I wasn't sure so I kept quiet. I coulda had that one. Harumph! This game is rigged. I'm going to sue!

Ok. "A gun is a tool, Mariam. No better or no worse than any other tool. An axe, a shovel, or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it."

When my Dad and I first saw this movie together, he said, "Remember that, son."

Easy. This one made my "Quote of the Week" in my cube a few years back.

Shane. And it's "Marian", not "Mariam". ;););)

Reposting my as-yet previously unanswered one:

"One shop destroyed. Three heads split like overripe melons. One man wounded and one castrated. All in two hours. Just two hours I left you alone. Two hours."

"Well, you asked me to give you a hand."

"Not like that, Beetle Brain."

"...and remember, this gun is pointed right at your heart."
"That is my is least vulnerable spot."
Casablanca.
I got the Sgt Rutledge one a while back but the phone screwed op my post.
This from the same movie I posted earlier which no one has gotten yet:
"...teach him to shoot."
"With this? It might get dirty,"
