Another thread was running recently that asked what the next Federal anti-gun shoe to drop was going to be. Some opined we should be more concerned with local anti-gun action. Looks like those were accurate concerns.

Earlier this year I reported about an emergency ordinance passed by the City of Columbia that banned all "weapons" within 250 feet of the Statehouse grounds. Many shrugged that off as inconsequential as it was temporary. I think it was a test, a dry run if you will to see if anyone pushed back. And no one did. It looks like local and state is the next battleground, not Federal.
