It's a day to remind manufacturers, retailers, the .gov and the rest of the folks out there that we still can do this.

Hardcore folks will purchase one box for every caliber firearm they own. The fiscally challenged will ask their local gunshop/range if they sell cartridges individually.

It does not matter at what level you participate, as long as you go out and buy ammo.

stay safe.

Not much money in "Foggy's Discretionary Ca$h" envelope right now, but I'll pick a box of SOMETHING that day.

great idea...but...:scrutiny:

I am already stocked for hunting season, stashed for defensive loads, and I used up this year's $$$ allotment of plinking & practice ammo a few weekends ago...throw in a major family member relocation and a move for myself and you get one poor son of a __________

With the price of factory ammo these days I'd much rather just stroke the press handle a couple more times too. ;)

But if someone wanted to keep with the theme of the day without breaking the bank, perhaps they could buy one box of ammo each for their favorite rifle, shotgun and handgun. Something along those lines anyways.

Although the target date is the 19th, the campaign actually officially covers that entire week.

I'm in for some components....lessee, I need some H335, some TiteGroup, some .224 projectiles and some .308 projectiles. Cabelas or Sportsman's Warehouse--decisions, decisions.
