[edit] Well hell there went my plans... You know what is really frustrating about having an eleven year old that checks the mail? She just throws it down somewhere when she brings it in. It could be on the bar, one of three bookshelves in the living room, top of the TV (or elsewhere in the entertainemt center), on the piano, back of the throne, her room, basicly anywhere except where it should be put, which is the desk I'm sitting at right now. This includes the water bill, and the disconnect notice. Had to pawn a pistol to pay the bill, get it reconnected, and have enough for gas and smokes till Friday.
It every year something like this happens. Well, not just on ammo day...

i just bought some at the gun show saturday.... ooh well, i guess i'll have to buy some more.... its not like you can have too much ammo anyway.

I couldn't wait. I just bought 2180 rnds Saturday. Maybe I'll get a brick of .22 from Wally-world just to stay in the spirit of things.

Well I tried to do my part, picked up 200rnds of 357mag, 40rnds of 400 CorBon and a few more bricks of 22lr. While its not the biggest purchase ever, just trying to do my part. And of course I picked up the wrong size holster for my P22 so I will be going back on friday to exchange, I guess I'll just have to pick up a few more rounds at that time.

Going to pick up my case of 40S&W today at WalMart. Our guy, Bill, in the gun dept left a message that the case is in. got to have plenty of ammo for PPC practice!!

After the SECOND time my electric service was shut off [about 18 years back] due to kids checking mail, and 'losing' some of it between mailbox and front door, I got a box at the post office. Was a hassle to go get my mail, but I never got surprised again. Threats of grevious harm to those that lost mail had no effect beyond the next day.
Now, to re-rail this thread, I will be buying some ammo on the way home toady.

I just did my part for Ammo Day and placed an order with Natchez Shooters Supply for the following:
* 200 rounds of CCI .22 WMR Mini Mags
