A few things I should point out:
According to a friend who knew Ryan, he didn't have any ammo for his AK knock-off, which was less than 24 hours before his rampage.
Also, according to a former member of THR (dunno if he's still posting), Hamilton committed two offences which should have been an automatic revocation of his FAC. He took a gun into a school (foreshadowing, maybe?), and threatened to shoot a neighbour. The authorities were overturned by the police chief.
You may want to take it with a pinch of salt, but I can remember a slight mention on the Hamilton claims about five years back.
I live not far from Dunblane, and I can sympathise with the loss, but I cannot condone the lies told in the attempt to destroy an innocent hobby.
I have already made my feelings on guns clear, I hope.-
