National Reciprocity for Concealed Carry Passes, Next Stop House

The 'nuclear' option that's what you're saying? Yea right and as soon as the Democrats take a majority of the Senate it goes right back and then some like a permanent AWB ban. Now who's being nearsighted.
I'm saying that the "nuclear option" is a bad idea, for precisely the reason that you mention. I think we're in agreement on this. Requiring a super-majority (60 votes) for any gun bill is probably best for us in the long run. That means that although it's harder to get nationwide concealed-carry reciprocity right now, it will also be harder to pass an assault-weapons ban in the future.
