National Republican Sentorial Committee-Gun Owners Task Force

I received a letter today from the National Republican Senatorial Committee and signed (generated) by Senator John Cornyn. It states that its a republican gun owners task force and asks that you make a contribution and answer a "gun owner census".

NRSC has been around a long time, first time I've seen them make guns a big deal.

But, John Cornyn is an EXTREMELY pro gun Senator from Texas, formerly our Attorney General.

That said, NRSC made a LOT of enemies back in May over a race in Florida when they backed Crist, who was seen as not nearly as pure conservative as one of his opponents.

Hard to not be political with this one, all I can speak to is Cornyn's complete pro gun stance.
