Seems like as good a time as any to contact him and remind him that his vote for 1022 shows him that he either supports useless "feel-good" legislation that DOES NOT reduce crime....or, he just wants to give law-abiding gun owners the shaft! Thus, gun owners will work hard to defeat him!

Miller, weighing run, says Dole will be a top target in '08
May 25, 2007 18:14 EDT
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- Representative Brad Miller is still considering a run for the Senate, and he says Republican Senator Elizabeth Dole is vulnerable and will be one of the Democratic party's top targets in 2008.
The third-term Democrat says party leaders have assured him that Dole will be one of ten targeted Senate seats in the upcoming election. Despite a difficult year for Republicans, an Elon University poll conducted last month says Dole still has the support of 52 percent of North Carolina voters.
Miller also says a Senate seat would allow him to be more involved in more issues facing Congress. The Senate has an equal number of Democrats and Republicans, although two independents usually vote with the Democrats.
On Thursday, Miller was one of 140 House Democrats to vote against a war funding measure after leaders stripped a timetable for withdrawal to appease President Bush.
