Need a new .223

Bought the CZ, Savage was out of stock, made it an easy decision. Putting a Bushnell 4200 6-24x50mm withe mildot, turrets, and side focus. I'll be sure to report on the shooting.

I've got the same scope on my CZ 550 Varmint in .22-250. Love the rifle and the scope. I really want a 527 Varmint with a Kevlar stock now...

At 100 yards the CZ 527 with composit stock is a one holer, I bedded the action and use 52 gr Sierra BTHP with 25gr AA 2520. The set trigger makes it a real charm. The bussnell 4200 6 x 24 is a perfect mate for it.

One can always get a Remington 700-SA and 8” twist barrel @ 200yds (20) shots. The barrel is in its 10th or 11th year and I’ll most likely replace it next year.
