Need electronic earmuff help

This is going to sound stupid, but I can't figure out how to open the battery compartment on my new Howard Leight earmuffs. I've tried a fingernail at each side (top, bottom, right ,left) and it doesn't want to open. I don't want to break the compartment door off. Do you guys know which side it should open from? What is the trick to opening this door?

Never mind. I got it. I stopped picking at the edges and just sort of pushed with my thumb and it finally moved enough.

I have found that the key to solving most problems, not just firearm related, is to post your question on an Internet forum. By the time you figure it out for yourself, at least 10 people will have responded by telling you to refer to Page 17 of the owner's manual!

The owner's manual just said to remove the cover and insert batteries. It turned out to be not hard at all. I just didn't want to force anything into breakage.
