I have an antique single shot pistol with a repaired cracked grip, I'm looking for someone to replicate the grip, it's a monogrip, so I can shoot the gun, it's fully functional except for the grip, any suggestions?
It is unclear what type of pistol the OP is talking about.
While I'm pretty sure it is not a Thompson-Center Contender, it could be https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thompson/Center_Contender
Or it could be something like this http://possibleshop.com/pistol-pedersoli.html
Or even something else...
I think it does matter.Doesn't really matter what it is. He just needs somebody that knows how to work with wood and make grips.

If it is a Contender, you can probably buy those off the shelf. If it is a commonly reproduced historical piece, it also may be available.
On the other hand, just being a woodworker that makes grips may not help. Forum member Olympus makes wood grips. I suspect he needs to know what gun it is before he determines whether he would make a grip for the OP.
It's not a Contender and although similar, the grips from the T/C can't be made to work, it's a H&R single shot and last made in 1937, I inherited it from my uncle who actually made the frame I have as he was a gunsmith for them for a few yrs, before becoming a ranger in WW2.He said he wanted someone to replicate the grip he has. So you send the whole gun to someone who makes grips and ask them to reproduce it.

Model 195? http://www.ogca.com/usra_single_shot_pistols.htm...it's a H&R single shot and last made in 1937, ....
Why I'm looking for someone with the skill to make one, and they're not all interchangeable, they were made from 1932 to 1937 and minor differences from year to year made the grips year specific, mine's a 37 and $98 for another cracked grip that may or may not fit is an expensive gamble!
It has a 20" 410 barrel and originally had a wire like stock that attached to the rear of the grip, was submitted to ATF to qualify as a legal shotgun, but was denied in 1939. So it's registered as an AOW.That's neat. What caliber is the barrel in?
Who do I contact, Googled ThroneArms, got a large list? Thanks.I can. So can my buddy. Look up ThroneArms.
