I'm not any kind of expert, but it does look like a Stevens. As I understand it, they were mostly .22s but were available in .25 Stevens, .32 Long, and perhaps several others.

its a takedown rifle. if you unscrew the round bolt under the bottom of the action you can remove the barrel.
caliber should be stamped on the left top flat of the barrel ( looking from the rear).

You have a first model Favorite chambered for .32 rimfire. These had flat main springs that were somewhat prone to breakage. In 1915 Stevens redesigned the rifle slightly. It now employed a coil mainspring and the top rear of the breech block was squared off. In late 1915, Savage bought out Stevens and started putting their logo on the gun.

Do you have the rest of the gun, or just the metal parts? If you are planning on restoring it to shooting status good luck finding ammo. I found 200 rounds a couple years ago and I feel like I stole it at $1 a round. I shot up 50 and I'm hoarding the rest. Shown with a 22LR for comparison.

Another option are various .32 rimfire adapters, which use a nailgun or starter blank and a round ball. In more sane times Dixie Gun Works had a couple versions available:

If you're handy, I've seen articles about making these sorts of workarounds at home using a drill press and donor centerfire cases. Somewhere around my house I saved a fairly recent Handloader Magazine article on the subject, but I can't lay hands on it just now.
