Need help re-assembling a Star BM

I recently took apart my Star BM to refinish it. I can't figure out how to re-insall the hammer because of the tension from spring. Could someone tell me how this is done?

Easier to do than explain.
Secure pistol in vise, precompress mainspring with long skinny screwdriver,
get hammer strut into the spring cap. press straight down and insert hammer pin.

It just takes 3 hands and a vise, no joke. If you can't manage it have a friend insert the hammer pin for you.
