Just picked up a Llama comanche for what I thought was a decent price. It didnt have a rear sight elevation screw. Didnt think it would be such a problem finding one. Ive checked numrichs. Found another site that has them but require a minimum order of $20. Screw only costs $5 and there wasnt anything else on their site that I need to fill out the order.

Can anyone think of another source? Or have experience with these guns, where another makers screw would be compatible?
Thanks in advance

Sorry I can't help as my only experience with a Llama firearm was years ago. A .380 I found in my father in laws office after he passed away.
I can offer a suggestion though. There must be a reason the elevation screw is missing. After 2-300 rounds it may have gotten loose and nobody noticed and fell out, constant sight adjustment just wore the screw out or any number of things. It may be something that happens often enough during the life of the firearm to warrant buying three extra screws. I'm not one to spend money if not needed but for the lack of any other suggestions that is what I would do.

I used to lose the tweezers and toothpicks out of my Swiss Army Knives all the time.

A few years ago, I ordered a dozen of each to make it worthwhile to pay for the shipping.

I haven't needed another one since.

Just get the extra screws.

I thought that the Llama revolvers used a clone of the S&W adjustable sight for theirs. I may be wrong but that is what I thought.

Metric threads or SAE?

Some gun shops will have a box of oddball screws and might have one to fit. I have had some success finding such items at hardware stores such as ACE Hardware.

Well I went back to site that had the screw in stock, schludershots.com. I was going to buy 4 to fill out the order minimum, but they only had 2 in stock. So I took a shot in the dark on a Colt side plate screw that I'm hoping fits a Miroku side plate, to fill out the order.

I will also suggest Ace Hardware . They carry gun screws of a lot of different sizes. If you know the size they should be able to help you. Found some screws there for a Cimmaron Revolver that just needed to be cut a little shorter (think it was .75 a screw). Better then paying $5.00 on-line plus shipping.

Just in case anyone's curious. I did place an order with schludershots.com. They actually had two different listings for rear elevation screw for the Llama. Well one was actually a windage adjustment screw and the other was a rear elevation screw, just to an Astra revolver.
But I did come across a Colt Python elevation screw that seems to be working, with some modification. About 10 minutes with some precision filing.
